Simon Hillmann advises plant operators, grid operators, electricity suppliers, end consumers and energy-intensive companies on all aspects of renewable energy law and general energy law. A particular focus lies currently on the customised drafting of energy contracts, especially in the area of decentralised electricity generation with photovoltaic systems. Another area of activity is electricity and energy tax law.
Studied German and French law as part of the German-French Master of Laws programme at the Universities of Cologne and Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (maîtrise en droit; LL. M. [Cologne/Paris I]) and in Berlin. Legal clerkship at the Berlin Court of Appeal. Both state law examinations with distinction.
