Focus

Maaria Filppula primarily focuses on negotiating and drafting of energy contracts, in particular for developers of wind and PV projects, as well as in the field of electromobility. She also provides comprehensive advice on regulatory issues and market processes, as well as on the requirements of the German Measurement and Calibration Act specifically for e-mobility. In addition to these activities, Ms. Filippula's particular focus on public procurement law should be emphasized, for example for contracts for energy systems or energy supply contracts. Her advisory practice is rounded off by Energy M&A, with a focus on providing energy law support for Due Diligence processes.

Studies

Bachelor's degree in Comparative and European Law (LL.B) from Hanse Law School and the University of Helsinki with a focus on European commercial law and public international law. First state law examination with distinction from the University of Münster and legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf with stations in Düsseldorf, Berlin and Lisbon.
