Focus

Kristin Weiß advises energy suppliers and metering point operators on the energy law aspects of metering and calibration law, in particular in connection with smart metering in accordance with the German Metering Point Operation Act. She also focuses on drafting and negotiating energy contracts, for example for hydrogen and renewable energies. An additional focus of Ms. Weiß's advice is the regulatory framework for energy storage systems.

Studies

Studied law at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster and at the Universitetet i Oslo (Norway) with a focus on regulatory law. Legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf with stages in Berlin and Washington, DC. Both state law examinations with distinction.
