Dr. Lukas Assmann

Dr. Lukas Assmann is specialized in general Energy Law. Furthermore, he advises on the legal framework for the remuneration of renewable energy. In this regard, he particularly focuses on the promotion of renewable energy from abroad as well as the cross-border transport of energy. Dr. Assmann has many years of experience in the development of energy projects. In this context, his emphasis is, inter alia, on designing tailor-made concepts and enforcing grid connections. He is also active in the field of mergers and acquisitions in the energy sector. Dr. Assmann led several buying and selling transactions of companies and designed and negotiated the necessary contracts.

Dr. Lukas Assmann was included in the 11th Edition of The Best Lawyers™ in Germany for his work in Energy Law.

Law studies at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich and the National University of Singapore. Recipient of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation. First State exam with honours. Traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Munich. Second State exam with honours. PhD in Energy Law at the University of Bayreuth (chair of Prof. Dr. Jörg Gundel).
