Focus
Dr. Lukas Assmann is specialized in general Energy Law. Furthermore, he advises on the legal framework for renewable energy. Dr. Assmann has many years of experience in the development of energy projects (PV, wind power, hydrogen, energy storage and PtX plants). In this context, his emphasis is, inter alia, on designing tailor-made concepts (PPA, EPC, O&M contracts) and enforcing grid connections as well as the public law approval. He is also active in the field of mergers and acquisitions in the energy sector. Dr. Assmann has accompanied the acquisition and sale of numerous energy companies and projects.
Dr. Lukas Assmann was included in the selection of The Best Lawyers™ in Germany for his work in Energy Law.
Studies
Law studies at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich and the National University of Singapore. Recipient of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation. First State exam with honours. Traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Munich. Second State exam with honours. PhD in Energy Law at the University of Bayreuth (chair of Prof. Dr. Jörg Gundel).
