Antonia Ruck advises on all aspects of general energy law as well as energy and environmental law. A particular focus of her practice lies in European economic law, especially emissions trading law. In addition, she represents and advises clients in the assertion and defense of claims before courts. Studies

Antonia Ruck studied law at the University of Augsburg and passed the First State Examination in Bavaria. She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Santa Clara University, California, USA. She completed her legal clerkship at the Augsburg Regional Court, with placements at the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer and the European Commission (DG FISMA). She passed the Second State Examination in Bavaria.

Professional Experience

She worked as an associate at a leading German corporate law firm specializing in energy law. Prior to that, she gained experience at international commercial law firms in the fields of finance and patent law. She also worked for several years at a university focusing, among other areas, on commercial and comparative law, and gained insights into the workings of the European Commission.
